Xiaomi has officially introduced the Redmi Note 17 Pro and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max globally, equipped with large capacity batteries set to make waves in the smartphone market. These new phones feature eye-catching 6.83-inch 120Hz OLED displays capable of delivering maximum brightness of up to 3,500 nits, ensuring clear visibility even under direct sunlight. The displays are protected with durable Gorilla Glass Victus 2 to guard against accidental impacts.
The standout feature of these phones is the adoption of new Si/C battery technology with significantly larger capacity. The Pro model comes with an 8,340mAh battery paired with 67W fast charging, while the Pro Max includes an even larger 9,210mAh battery with 100W fast charging. These massive battery capacities eliminate battery anxiety, and reverse charging capability is also included to power other devices.
Performance has also been upgraded accordingly. The Redmi Note 17 Pro uses the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chip, while the Pro Max features the more efficient Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chip.
