Samsung's Galaxy Z TriFold had a brief and turbulent existence. After limited sales and only a few restocks in South Korea, production was halted. In the United States, it had a slightly longer lifespan, with the last restock occurring on April 10, but those units have also sold out.
Now, the American market has said goodbye to the Galaxy Z TriFold. After production was stopped in Korea, it has now ceased in the United States as well. To be more precise, Samsung's official website states that "the limited-edition Galaxy Z TriFold is now completely sold out."
Samsung further stated that users should "continue to monitor their website to avoid missing out on exciting new innovations." Currently, the Galaxy Z Fold7 or Galaxy S26 Ultra are recommended for purchase instead. While both phones are good options, neither can fold in two dimensions.
If the TriFold 2 actually launches, it is expected to have a longer lifespan than its predecessor. According to current reports, the TriFold 2 could launch in 2027 and would be thinner and lighter than the original phone. Additionally, it could be released alongside a sliding-screen smartphone. While the future remains bright, the Galaxy Z TriFold has now completely come to an end.
