Users can view a Feed within the Muse app that aggregates information from their Facebook and Instagram accounts or news articles from websites. The AI assistant will be available to users in the United States through iOS, Android, and web platforms, with plans to make it accessible through Ray-Ban Meta glasses in the future. In addition to a free plan, users can choose subscription options costing $20 or $100 per month depending on usage.
Meta is introducing Muse at a time when the company faces intense scrutiny over security and privacy concerns. However, officials say the Muse app operates within the company's separate security system, meaning users' passwords and payment information will not be visible.
